Celebrating 15 Years of Excellence 🎉

This year Gambel Communications celebrates 15 years in business.

In 2009, Betsie Gambel had a vision to launch a public relations agency focused on elevating clients’ profiles, particularly nonprofits whose missions benefited the local community. To this day, Gambel Communications remains committed to connecting people and ideas to do just that, and so much more.

Over the last decade and a half, we have grown from a few hard-working professionals to an agency staffed with a dozen full-time, seasoned team members and a cadre of strategic partners. We have the privilege of working with iconic brands, legions of nonprofits, public agencies, schools, corporations and small businesses. We’ve earned a track record of success for our clients across the Gulf South, exceeding expectations through high standards and extraordinary quality of work.

The heartbeat of Gambel Communications is in the transformational impact we strive for each day on behalf of our clients. The numerous successful campaigns, innovative projects and strong relationships we have built over the last 15 years are a testament to the hard work and passion embedded in our core values.

The dedication, creativity and professionalism demonstrated by our team members over the years has played a significant role in reaching this 15th anniversary milestone.

I’ve had the opportunity to work at Gambel Communications for the past 10 years, first as a senior director of strategy, then vice president and now CEO. As I reflect on the growth and purpose-driven impact that Gambel Communications has achieved, I also think about the legacy of our founder, Betsie Gambel. A natural teacher and leader, Betsie has left an indelible mark on so many individuals who walked the halls of our agency.

Being early is on time. Don’t worry about who gets credit. Always follow up. Acknowledge everyone you meet. Say thank you (and mail thank you cards). Tell them something they didn’t know. Dress for the role you want to have. Always go to a meeting with an agenda and a new idea. Don’t let the sun set without a call back. These are just a few of the “Betsie-isms” we live by!

At Gambel Communications, we have spent 15 years doing what we love – putting people and ideas together to positively impact the communities we live in. On behalf of the entire team, thank you for being part of our journey. I hope you’ll join me throughout this year as we celebrate and look ahead to many more years of memorable creativity and expert storytelling!
