With nearly two decades of experience shaping narratives and navigating complex communication landscapes, Alicia Vial is a seasoned communications leader dedicated to elevating her clients' stories. As the senior director of public relations, Alicia is at the helm of strategic communications and prides herself on being a meaningful partner with a proven track record of success, deep industry insight and a passion for achieving exceptional results.

At Gambel Communications, Alicia oversees a variety of clients spanning tourism, healthcare, retail and nonprofit sectors. She directs the agency’s evaluation and measurement methodologies and manages professional development initiatives to ensure the client services team operates at the forefront of public relations standards.

A trusted voice in the PR community, Alicia serves on the board of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) New Orleans Chapter and participates in numerous industry organizations like the Public Relations Association of Louisiana (PRAL), Southern Public Relations Federation (SPRF) and Press Club New Orleans.

Alicia is part of the 2027 class for Leadership Jefferson, is a New Orleans Regional Leadership Institute (NORLI) alum, was recognized by New Orleans CityBusiness as part of their Young Professionals Power List and has been named Senior Public Relations Practitioner of the Year by SPRF. Dubbed early on in her career as one to watch, she also received the ‘Rising Star’ award by PRAL and was profiled in St. Charles Avenue Magazine as part of their Young Bloods series.

An LSU graduate, Alicia received a bachelor's degree in mass communications with a concentration in public relations and minors in business administration and leadership development.
