Ronald McDonald House unveils new home at Children’s Hospital
Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Louisiana (RMHC-SLA) has been making an impact on tens of thousands of families in Louisiana and across the globe for nearly 40 years. With the help of the local community, RMHC-SLA helps ease the financial and emotional burdens families face as they access critical care for their children.
Gambel Communications partnered with RMHC-SLA to help increase positive public awareness for the nonprofit ahead of and after the grand opening of their new 17,500-square-foot house on the campus of Children’s Hospital New Orleans.
Launching McCord Butchery
McCord Butchery is a locally owned and operated meat, seafood and provisions market opened by Chef Samuel McCord and his wife Jackie. McCord Butchery offers the “old school” butcher and chef-driven experience that used to be the norm so many years ago.
McCord sought partnership with Gambel Communications to help them execute a grand opening/ribbon cutting, launch social media pages and define the brand in the market.
Beignet Fest celebrates and empowers the lives of children with autism
Bringing together the tremendous need for programs to serve children with autism and an idea about a food festival centered around beignets, Amy and Sherwood Collins founded the Tres Doux Foundation in New Orleans. As parents of a child with autism, the Collins established the foundation to celebrate and enhance the lives of children with developmental delays and disabilities by presenting them as whole beings, and it supports other organizations that do the same.
As the official public relations agency for Beignet Fest and the Beignet Fest Foundation, Gambel Communications works to promote the annual festival, its mission and impact programs.
Welcome to the transformed Children’s Hospital New Orleans
Children’s Hospital New Orleans is the first and largest freestanding children’s hospital that provides the highest level of care for the sickest babies, children, adolescents and young adults in Louisiana and the Gulf South. To continue to provide the most advanced care possible, hospital leaders knew it was necessary to expand their facilities and create an innovative environment of healing.
