Annie Matherne is a senior communications strategist with extensive knowledge in media relations, crisis communications, social media strategy and internal communications. In her current role, she develops and manages communications strategies and solutions for a variety of accounts.
Before joining Gambel Communications, Annie served as the Director of Public Relations for Audubon Nature Institute for eight years working in web design, social media, communications and public relations. Annie has worked on stories ranging from announcing critically endangered species to premier New Orleans fundraising galas.
Annie graduated from Spring Hill College with a degree in Public Relations and Advertising and a minor in Business Administration. During her college years she interned at Gambel Communications over her summer and holiday breaks. Annie is beyond excited to again be a part of the Gambel team!
In her spare time, Annie loves fishing and getting out in the great outdoors with her husband, Reice and dog, Onyx.
