BioScrip Infusion Services Welcomes Clinical Liaison and Pharmacist to Baton Rouge Team

Expanding team furthers BioScrip’s goal to deliver superior clinical care

Baton Rouge, LA (May 22, 2019)BioScrip Infusion Services, Inc., formerly CarePoint Partners, is pleased to welcome two team members to its Baton Rouge Ambulatory Infusion Suite. Brad Stockwell, BSN, is returning to the team as a Clinical Liaison, and Kellie Elisar, PharmD, is joining the staff as a Pharmacist in Charge.

Area Vice President of Operations Kim Harvey said, "At BioScrip, our teammates are our single most important asset. We’re constantly working to create the strongest teams at our nearly 80 locations across the United States. Having Brad and Kellie join our Baton Rouge staff furthers that goal.”

Brad Stockwell earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Southeastern Louisiana University in 1998. He brings over 20 years of experience as a registered nurse with home health and infusion experience to the BioScrip team. Stockwell’s teammates have described him as a hard worker, dedicated team player and motivating spirit.

“I’m excited to be back with the BioScrip team in Baton Rouge and to once again work with patients, families and caregivers to ensure continuity of care,” said Stockwell.

Kellie Elisar earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from University of Louisiana at Monroe in 2014. With eight years of experience in retail pharmacy, Elisar takes prides in her extensive experience delivering integrative patient care and unparalleled service.

Elisar said, “I’m looking forward to the opportunity in my new role to grow in infusion while specializing in pediatrics. My goal is to be the expert for our south market.”

Stockwell and Elisar join BioScrip’s regional workforce in New Orleans, Covington, Hammond, Lafayette, Houma, Lake Charles and Baton Rouge, among others. As an infusion services provider, BioScrip administers life sustaining medicine to the community through anti-infective therapy, cardiac care, nutrition support, immunoglobulin therapy, transplant care and hemophilia care.
